April 24, 2006 by pet-admin

Cat food is important for your pet , especially for health . This is a few feeding guideline for your cat :
-Choose an area where your cat can access its food and eat without interference from dogs.
-Moist food should be at room temerature and not straight out of the refrigerator.
-Moist food does not contain preservatives. Remove uneaten food after an hour.
-Cats prefer to eat small meals and should be fed twice daily.
-Dry foods can be left out all day.
-Commercial diets are generally formulated to provide all of the nutritional requirements of a cat. Check the label carefully. There should be a statement on the list of ingredients, analysis of nutrients and the calorie value of food.
-Both moist and dry foods are commercially available.
-In some cats the amount of milk provided should be limited.
-Supplementing a cat’s diet with table scraps is permissable but only in small quantities and infrequently to avoid upsetting the nutrient balance in its regular diet.
