Angry Dog Owner Uses Dead Puppy as Weapon

This woman from Missouri, facing assault charges after hitting a dog breeder in the head with her dead Chihuahua.
According to police, the 33-year-old suspect was upset because she’d just paid Linda Hulfey two-hundred dollars for the puppy and it died days after she brought it home. So, authorities say she went to Hulfey ’s home Wednesday morning (6/7/06) to confront her. When she arrived, she hit Hulfey in the face with a bag that had the dead puppy inside.

Hulfey says the woman pulled her hair and told her to wake her children up so they could see their mother being beaten.
Police say when the woman left Hulfey ’s house, she waved the dead puppy out of the sunroof of her car and yelled threats at her.

Hulfey was treated for contusions and bruising to her head and ribs.
